This wont be a long article. Just first impressions:

Yesterday was the day for the dealers and for the press. That’s why there were not as many people as there are expected today. Plus today the have a special holiday here in Germany. „Tag der deutschen Einheit“ it’s called. It’s to celebrate the day when East- and Westgermany signed the contract that they want to be together in future again.

Back to Intermot: The information is immense. A lot to write about. But for now I just share some impressions of my yesterdays vist.

As you know I ride the BMW R 1200 GS (bought with my brain) and a Indian Roadmaster (bought with my soul & heart). That’s why I was very curious about the presentation of the two new bikes. I will not write any technical review now I just share the pictures that I posted on my Instagram-account. I’m actually more active there than here on the blog.

There is just a bigger audience on instagram and the basics I can share there too together with the pictures I share there.

First was my visit at the stand of Klim motorcyle-wear. This because Marc von Weissenfluh from MMD-Adventures borrowed me his jacket just to test it duringy my ride to the intermot. I was glad to have such a jacket since I smelled snow, felt hail and a lot of rain. Thanks Marc.

There I met Maria Seredkina who is a Russian representative of Klim and Indian Motorcycle, which is both part of Polaris and I met also Winfried Kerschhaggl. He was our host at the Klim-Stand. Thanks a lot for the coffee and the nice talk!

Later I went to see the presentation of the new BMW R 1250 GS. I like this bike. I am looking forward to my next testride. 😉

Second was the presentation of the new Indian FTR 1200 which comes with 3 different models. Their marketing is really great. But probably it’s also because I am fan of their bikes. Not easy to talk in a neutral way about it. So I only post my pics here.

And for sure I met a lot new and old friends.

I met Maria Seredkina (Klim & Indian Russia), Winfried Kerschhaggl (Klim & Seven GmbH), Herbert Schwarz (Nitschke-Verlag), Daniel und Christa Arrigoni, Pat Sieber (Arrigoni Sports GmbH, Thomas Lüdee (an Indian addicted guy like me)

It was a long day, full of impressions. I was glad to get in my hotelroom and to relax, read the booklets and informations I got the whole day.

Today now I enjoyed a simple but great breakfast and I am looking forward to my todays visit of the Intermot 2018 in Cologne (Köln).

Todays breakfast made me smile.
